Safeguarding Commitment

Website summary: Publish the ministry’s approved full safeguarding policy, reporting contacts, response procedure, and jurisdiction-specific requirements before accepting participants or teams online.

Sports ministry should provide an environment where children, young people, vulnerable adults, volunteers, and community members are treated with dignity and protected from harm.

Our intended commitments

Reporting a concern

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or appropriate authorities. SportsReach Asia should publish a named safeguarding lead and confidential reporting channel before launch. Until then, use the website contact form and clearly mark the message “Safeguarding Concern.”

Mission teams

International teams should expect pre-trip safeguarding preparation, behavioral expectations, controlled interaction with minors, and compliance with local-church and SportsReach Asia procedures.
